The first Botaniq meeting No.Zero, was held in Ljubljana-Slovenia in the context of the festival Sonic realized by the MoTA museum on October 19, 2010.
The art festival was small (it was the first one but it is growing incredibly), and the Media Art exhibition was distributed in different parts of the Ljubljana city which mean that the participants had to travel from one place to another. Similarly, the city carried out a series of alternate art exhibitions.
It was 4 days, counting with the participation of 3 people Anam Cara Iris (student photography from Slovenia), Pau Cata (art theorist from Spanish) and Sabina Zdravkovic (degree in languages from Slovenia).
Although the workshop was located in the exhibition, participants undertook a city tour that ended in unexpected places. At the end they did not address any of the works of the festival but works of other exhibitions or works that were part of the architecture of the city.
A medical student attended the first day but then did not return for personal reasons.
The process of documenting the work of each participant was very difficult as requested by mutual agreement not to follow them as they saw the process as something intimate, personal.
The works were analyzed for 4 days by the participants Iris Anam Cara, Pau Cata and Sabina Zdravkovic.
