Diaries of an Interactor. Conservation of experiences with Media Art.

The workshop consist in archiving Media Artworks through your own experience developing an illustrating a personal diary in the period of 3 days.
Each participant chooses one Artwork displayed in the ZKM museum, illustrating, making notations, composing graphically and describing both the work and his/her interaction and experience.
At the end of the workshop, the illustrated diaries of every participant will be part of a digital and printed archive of media Artworks and a book with the topic of conservation of Media Art.
It is a free workshop, open to 10 participants with a free entrance for three days to the ZKM exhibition, snacks and all materials for the workshop.

The workshop of conservation of experiences is open to people from different disciplines and requires no prior knowledge of art, illustration or plastic capabilities.
In the workshop each participant will explore the best way to archiving artworks based on their own experience.
Requirements from the participants.
English speakers, laptop and availability to stay for the period of the workshop.

About workshops moderator.
In his research work, he founded and currently directs “El Niuton magazine”, one of the first publication about media art in Latin America; in 2006 he published a book call, “Hybrid Beans”, Art as a manifesto of hybridization.
Now a days he is searching in the area of Media archiving and Media Archaeology.
His artistic work experiments with spatiality, virtuality and poetic, exhibiting internationally in such festivals as Migaa Project-Ars Electronica / Astria, KHM annual Exhibition/ Germany, Amaze Fest-Club Transmediale/ Germany, V2 Rotterdam, Sonica Festival/ Slovenia.
